Elisabeth handed out candy along the parade route and Ansley was dressed up as a Girl Scout cookie (the light brown one)
This is the one! Let's take it home!
Decorating the tree and listening to Christmas music. Love it.
Taking a break to love on the dogs
Slowly but surely it's beginning to look alot like Christmas around here
Ansley and Elisabeth were in the Christmas parade this weekend. In the 15 years that we've lived here we've never been to the Christmas parade! We are usually in the mountains the 1st weekend in December getting our Christmas tree so we have always missed the parade. But this year Ansley's Girl Scout Troop was in the parade so we couldn't pass up the opportunity for her to be in it. Elisabeth (a Daisy Scout) got to walk with them also. They thought it was GREAT! It was fun but it was VERY cold that morning. After standing out in the 35 degree weather for 2 hours I was ready to come home to some hot tea and sit by the fire! Thank goodness the rain held off and it didn't start to drizzle until about an hour after the parade ended. After the parade we went to a local tree lot and got our Christmas tree. It was a fun Christmas weekend! :-)
